I just noticed a pair of side bets on a Banker or Player natural hand in baccarat. It can be found in the Knockout Baccarat live dealer game by Ezugi software.

In researching existing information on these bets, I found that our own teliot wrote about similar side bets, but on an exact natural total of 8, or total of 9, as originally written about by Ed Thorp Ed Thorp in 1966.

I decided to write about all these natural side bets in a new page -- Baccarat Natural Win Side Bets on my Odds site. You can find links to Eliot's articles there.

Please click on the link and let me know what you think. As always, I welcome questions, comments, and especially corrections.

The question for the poll is would you play any of these bets? (multiple votes allowed)
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

If I ever play a single hand of baccarat, never mind one of the side bets, please shoot me.

The opening sentence of "1984" was one of the best ever written. Would there be clocks inside casinos in Oceania?

Yes. They are a good place to hide surveillance cameras. Just ask Tony Montana.

Hmmm... not bad. Better than the Tie bet at 8 to 1, and marginally more than Tie at 9 to 1.
An interesting coup on this is

One Opponent has Natural pays 3 to 2 (not Opponent specific)
Both Opponents have a Natural pay 4 to 1
No Natural dealt loses

I believe this is in the range of the (dis)advantages you posted

Some people need to reimagine their thinking.
