I have finally convinced my very frugal (can we say cheap) brother to join me in Vegas at the end of July. He doesn't gamble, but may play Pai Gow Poker with me if we can find some low minimums. We are staying at Paris. Any information on $5 or $10 tables would be greatly appreciated. I always play $25 and haven't paid close attention to the minimums except where they are more than $25. Thanks.

$5 Pai Gow poker would be downtown at the El Cortez, and possibly Bill's. Most of the time during the day, you'll see $10 on the strip, going up at night.

You can find $10 Pai Gow Poker on the strip all the time. I think Monte Carlo has one all the time.
$5 is going to be a lot tougher. There was a $5 table at the Silverton, but that was a while back. I was downtown a month ago, and I didn't see a $5 table. I didn't go to El Cortez though...

I've played it for $5 at Palms, Golden Nugget, Main Street Station, Palace Station, El Cortez, and Red Rock. Most of those were during the day, but El Cortez was at night.

Is it me, or is Pai Gow Poker getting more and more popular?? Some of my friends never play table games, but they do indulge in Pai Gow Poker.

i would just assume your gonna play $10 mins if you are on the strip. i play some pai gow and ive never seen less that ten even at bills. im thinkning the $5 was a rare occation.
ive played $10 at hardrock, nyny, luxor, monte, bills, southpoint, and paris. everywhere else is either super trashy or probably much higher min. i have heard bellagio has $15.

I just got back from Vegas 2 days ago a saw a few $5 tables, but only downtown (I'm fairly certain Binion's even had a couple on Monday night). The strip was mostly $25, although some of the low roller casinos (Monte Carlo, Ballys, etc.) had $10 during the day.
