A lot of players talk about hole carding while playing 3 card poker. What exactly is hole carding? From what I can comprehend, it seems like it is a way of seeing the dealers cards? Anyway I'm not clear on the process and was hoping someone could explain. Thanks

weak dealers will often lift their hole cards too high when they take them out of the shuffler.

a lot of places have changed their procedure now, making players play their hands before the dealer takes the cards out of the shuffler -- but this slows down the game and creates a lot of problems, for example, if there's a red light on the shuffler after players have seen their cards.
