EZ Baccarat

The fact that the Dragon and Panda side bets are countable has been well documented at WOO as well as other places. The counter gains opportunities to bet the dragon at a positive EV. My thought here is that when the dragon becomes more likely to hit that the banker hand becomes a worse bet. While traditional baccarat is not a countable game, perhaps this game is. Anyone else think that perhaps near the end of the shoe, the count will be very good for the dragon, meaning we can bet dragon, or if the count is very bad for the dragon side bet, then the bet is better for the banker. Is the power of the 3rd card rule enough to overcome the now reduced possibility of the dragon hand?

The shift to making the Dragon-7 hand more likely affects the Banker hand slightly. It is more like some three-card 7 winning than a Banker's dragon-7; more three card 7's in general makes the side bet more EV+ than the main bet on the hand. I will say that inducing more three card hands slightly favors the Banker.
