Tiebreaker is supposed to be picking number of points in Monday Night Game

We meaning the WOV site, are not utilizing the tiebreaker portion of the system. By default it is there and that is why you fill it in every week, but it is intended for those who create a pool and award a weekly prize to their participants. I think the only prize in the Wizards pool is bragging rights at the end of the season. What the hell though it was free and I think it is a lot of fun.

Now that the streak is over, I wonder if Green Bay is going to take their foot off the gas, and just try to get into the post season healthy? Same with the Steelers. Big Ben could really use some rest for his torn up ankle.

They still need to clinhc the home field for the playoffs. So I'm guessing not.

They should. Besides their backups need the practice. And, really, fifth or sixth seed mskes little difference.

BTW don't forget the game today.

Very strange weekend indeed. Well we are winding down to the final. Things are actually very tight, this could be anyones claim to fame. Good luck all, and may the best prognasticator win.

my goal also; apparently I had a half-week of non-participation I was unaware of, or had forgotten about. That makes 2 full weeks, so to be in the top ten would be something.

Seeing as there's no MNF today and the season's over, may we get the final official results?

(Yes, I've looked. But it's not official til thlf posts it).

Eagles, Redskins, Cowboys all out of the playoffs. Some kind of stellar performance by the NFC East eh? Giants 9-7, that's impressive [not]. Jets out too btw. Whodathunkit?

So how would this work in real life. If I bet $100 on each game +10 = 110x256 = $28160 I get my $100 back plus another $100 for the 139 wins 139x$200 = $$27,800 so I would have lost $360 for the season? LOL where can I buy a sports book franchise?

I see I managed another "incomplete", probably a lost cause now. This is good, as it reinforces for me never to join a fantasy league again. I am somehow not made for paying the kind of attention to these things that is required.

Sorry for the delay. I was on Holiday and not looking at a computer at all (except online poker). These are the official finals and includes everyone who originally signed up and some who didn't participate throughout the season. Congrats to ncfatcat the overall winner. Congrats to everyone who participated as well. I think it is a lot of fun for free and shows how much money you can save by just not betting. Keep in mind though that most would not bet every game every weekend for money, so maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. I know for myself this was one of the worst seasons I have had due to some of the parity in the league. Again thanks to all who participated and to the Wiz for setting up the pool in the first place. ncfatcat feel free to start bragging, you earned it.

Nobody beat the vig 8o( but you are correct many of those games I wouldn't have touched with a 10 foot pole. Is there a way to do a money line pool with top $ winning at end of year?

You get the vig back on winners, so 139 wins * $210 = 29190 - 28160 = gain of $1030.

Your 54.3% rate beats the break even of 52.4%.
