I've been thinking about this for years--can a handicapper really do much better than a coin flip when it comes to picking NFL winners? Time to find out. I know one season is not enough to go by, but I am doing it for the fun.

Years ago The Wall Street Journal had a "Dartboard Challenge" where pro stock pickers would pick against darts thrown at the stock pages. So here it the plan:

1. Over the weekend I will take the entire season and pick teams using a coin-flip simulator online.
2. Picks to be posted every wednsday evening at my blog here on WoV.
3. All lines will come from our sponsor, Bodog. If Bodog is holding up putting a line on a game BetUs will be used. FiveDimes will be used if still no line. If no line after that, I will use Thursday's or Friday's line, time of line based on when I get home from work, early evening EDT/EST.
4. Results on Tuesday.
5. All bets are flat-bets on the spread, but if the moneyline on the spread is other than -110 it WILL go towards the results for good or bad.

Any predictions on how this will turn out? We know it should be .500 but any guesses other than that?
