Believe it or not the pommel horse is the most difficult discipline/event in gymnastics. Maintaining one's balance while mastering centrifugal forces plus moving up and down the apparatus plus moving hands from pommels to flat surfaces is beyond difficult. While there are no "danger" skills like the horizontal bar, the skill set is extreme and falling off the apparatus happens often.

I am a big gymnastics fan.
Getting your hopes up for the US men to medal will only lead to disappointment. Again and again.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think they do that during a time trial. I can (sort of) understand handing a water bottle to a rider. I think it’s way different than pushing the rider. I’d also bet there is no pushing in the bike part of triathlons.

Different Olympics, but I wonder how much bobsledding would still be a sport without the pushing?

I am a realist when it comes to gymnastics. The Chinese and Japanese have the strongest teams by far. The US for a bronze is a possibility. Right now there is too much inconsistency in the performances. Pommel Horse is weak. P-bars is just above average. Rings nothing special. There are some individuals that could medal, but ........

Simone seemed to have injured her leg during floor warmups, but she was able to compete in every event as amazingly as usual.

Only the fancy box seats. Regular seating I figure they buy same as anyone else. Celebs can like a sport same as any other person.
Might be fun to play but an absolutely abysmal spectator sport.
USA playing Japan in women’s basketball. Finally found a site I could bet on USA money line. It was 1000-1. But DraftKings only 32-1. So I’m bridge jumping betting on the USA. $96 can win me $3.

I enjoy Rugby Sevens too They have a big tournament in Las Vegas every year out at the Sam Boyd stadium complex. It is fun to watch.
I think badmiten is the only game left slow enough to have some extended volleys. Though they can really slam that thing.

Tennis is about the only sport where I enjoy watching the women more than the men just for that reason. A lot more volleys in womens tennis.
