So I signed up for the Circa Million this year because they just opened up a book in the new Legends Bay Casino in Sparks. Anyone else put down a $1k or more?

Didn't Wizard enter the Survivor pool a couple of years ago?

They added a new feature to Survivor last year; there's an extra million that is split among everybody that goes 20-0 and never chooses either of the previous year's Super Bowl teams.

And yes, that's 20-0; you have to choose two games on Thanksgiving weekend (one on Thanksgiving Day, the other on Sunday/Monday) and two on Christmas weekend (again, one on Thursday/Saturday - they're playing the full schedule on Saturday since Christmas is on Sunday - and one on Sunday/Monday). You are even reminded not to choose all six teams playing on Thanksgiving before the day, or you will automatically lose at that point.

I opted for the million vs the survivor because I see more value in this contest. For starters there is a bigger overlay. And The Millions will get me action for the entire season. In survivor, you could be out in the 1st week. Plus I like the quarterly payouts. Even if you don’t win or even cash being in the top 100 you still have a chance to win $150k 4 times thru the season and even place 5th which gets you $10k.

Am I the only member on this forum who has signed up?

Really? I’m the only one on this forum who signed up? Final overlay of 1.4 million in the million contest. They exceeded the 6000 entries in the survivor contest so no overlay but half the field got eliminated after the 1st week. So if you managed to survive, now it’s down to less than half to battle it out for the 6.1 million.

I managed to go 4-1 on my picks for the 1st week. I’ll take it.

I didn't end up signing up. I couldn't commit to being around every week and I couldn't find a reliable and cheap proxy.

I know the idea is to get people into the sports book to make their selection, but it would be nice if players could make their picks at any point before the game. For example, making every pick in one visit.

I didn't sign up for any such contests this year either.

You have to sign up at the book, but after that you can make your selections each week by way of their app, assuming you are in Nevada.
