I have been to Vegas twice during March Madness and in my opinion, it is one of the greatest experiences there is.

I love Vegas. I love college basketball. It's like the perfect scenario.

I was thinking of booking a trip for this season and going back, and being from WV the biggest expense for me would be airfare. Obviously, the sooner I book, the cheaper. However, it seems like college games are being cancelled and/or postponed at a rate way higher than any other sport.

That makes me nervous that a tournament may not even happen this year again.

I think the current surge dies down by the time the conference championships start in March.

COVID-19 didn't stop the football playoff, nor did it stop the FCS tournament.

Then again, the 2020 tournament wasn't cancelled until three days before Selection Sunday, but still, I think it happens as planned.

Can you fly Southwest? If so, even if you cancel you get a credit for use up to a year from when you bought the ticket. If not, then just buy a ticket and go!

I've done March Madness in Vegas, and yes it's fantastic.

But I can't imagine anything worse than sitting in a sportsbook all day with a mask on my face. No freaking way. I'll wait.
