I think that's hard to do, seeing I have been doing badly for weeks. To end 54%, I must do better than 54%, to overcome weeks of 52%. I'm probably better off with no takers.

I hate when I pick a team and they get blown out right from the first series. What was I thinking of?

I picked the Bucs+6.5 and it could have been Bucs +26.5 and I'd still be losing: late in the 2nd Quarter its 35-7. What was I thinking of?

I'm finding it interesting how many games got heavily picked, while others virtually ignored.

Buffalo Chicago is particularly interesting, with 8 Buff and 4 Chi (counting confidence as 2), and 4 past year's wov Champs and other smart money among the 8.

If Chi holds on (31-3 w 3:52 left in Q3), that one game is going to be disproportionately expensive.

Also 1U (conf, so 2) and 1 O on the line.

Sorry Theilen's 100 yd/game streak is over, though. That was pretty impressive.

I think you could be lying about these random picks. Makes sense two of the shadiest are leading the game, but who is giving the picks? Look at my pick percentage the last few seasons. I was seriously terrible. I entered this game about 10 minutes before the deadline because I didn't think I would have time. I have not watched a single game this year. Even the Steelers games I have not watched in full. I just watched yesterdays game this morning by using the skip ahead feature. Kinda nice to watch a game in 25 min.

I know there are a lot of people that are good picking games that don't watch games. I just find it hard to believe your Ouija board voodoo is your secret. Lol that would be funny if I were using his.

The first 4 or 5 weeks I was using rubiks cubes and dice. It was all very true. The last few weeks I didn't have time to even do that so I just copy and pasted and picked 5 random games abs just picked them. Not sure if you would call the last 3 weeks random because I did at least look at the names and picked but I honestly have no knowledge of any of the teams this year. I will say that I did make my Steelers confidence pick on my own. No matter the side with ravens/steelee I will always take 3 points. I think there was a streak where the winner won by 3 or less like 12 times or something.

Sometimes they are. Defaults are almost always last, but Picks aren’t always order submitted. Sometimes they’re nearly the opposite, actually. Depends which PM page I start opening links in new tab from first.

It's definitely looking better now. There was one thing Gurley said after beating GB I didn't want to believe, and it was a tell, he accidentally mentioned that they had lost that game, that they actually won. This showed some fear in my opinion, a small slip in his confidence.

I think we're already over 20 commitments, I think we're going to maybe end up with 30 players this year. That would be $725 in Entry Fees (I don't pay because I don't get First Place money if I win) so that breaks down something like:

725 * .6 = $435
725 * .3 = $217.50
725 * .1 = $72.50

I don't know if you want to put it to a vote or just let me decide it, but I don't think that's enough for first place. I also don't think third place should get more than his/her money back. If there was $725 in the prize pool, I'd be more inclined to do something like this:

FIRST PLACE: $600
SECOND PLACE: $100
THIRD PLACE: $25

In fact, I would be inclined to say let's just keep it like that for 25+ players. If there are 25 or more players, Second Place gets $100, Third Place gets his/her money back and First Place gets everything else.
