My brother and I each have an entry in an NFL pool.
We pick every game against the spread each week.
All spreads automatically include 0.5 above the Vegas spread. A favorite who is -3 in Vegas is -3.5 in our pool.
It typically takes 12 or 13 wins, in a 16 game week to win the pool.
In week 4, for instance, we agree on 5 games and disagree on 9.
Assume we get those 5 correct.
The odds of one of us having picked the other 9 correctly, or even 5-6 of them, is pretty slim.
What I am looking for is a way we can coordinate our picks to improve our odds of winning for a particular week.
I know for a fact that other groups of entrants coordinate their picks as well, so I am not concerned about ethics or etiquette.
thanks for the help.
