You got three columns: Win, Lose, Draw
Sides refers to which team won.
Totals refers to total points scored
Overall is a Running Total of your net financial gain.
And you are betting something called "units" so that its sort of like a Black Chip. Its atleast a hundred dollars but you can put down more than one such chip if you want to.

You got it my man. Wasn't sure how to best keep track for ease of understanding. Anyone who follows can make their "unit" whatever they like. I bet a % of bankroll on my plays and adjust the bankroll daily, but didn't want to get confusing so kept it simple.

So is there no vig when you bet? For every 10 losses of 1 unit, there would be a unit lost to vig..

Of course....hence my record on totals of 4 wins and 4 losses
4 wins = +4 units and 4 losses = -4.4 I am currently -0.4 units
On sides....I have 5 wins = +5.2 units (one of my wins was on the money line at +120 odds meaning I risked 1 unit to win 1.2 units that my team would win straight up, no point spread) and 1 loss -1.1 units giving me a total of +4.1 units

Nah everything I bet I post,everything I post I actually bet. Everything will be considered 1 unit unless otherwise specified. This is how I've generally seen sports picks listed. Anyone who follows along can just slip whatever bet size they choose in for their units. Whether their unit is $50, $100, $500 etc they decide.
Thus far if you followed along and were a $50 bettor you would be up $205, if your units were $500 you would be ahead $2050.

Interesting night and points out why line shopping and timing are so important! First off the Portland/Minnesota game was postponed!
(The Timberwolves announced the game was postponed, and Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune noted it would be rescheduled. Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press said there is ice underneath the floor in Minnesota's Target Center that was used for a Disney show and hockey tournament.
Jason Quick of added, "Condensation from high humidity is causing slick spots around edge of court. They've lowered arena temperature and cleared court to mop.")
I had Miami +10 points and they beat Cleveland outright 106-98
The Sixers I had +5.5 which did not cover as they lost 112-98
Now the other two games line shopping came into play....
I bet Denver -12 right before I posted my plays......had I waited until closer to game time I could have gotten them -10.5 as that is where the line closed. This would have gotten me a winner instead of a push as Denver won the game 108-96.
In my late game I had Boston/Clippers under 218.5....I stated in my post I was going to wait until the line moved up from the current # of 217 and it paid off. The game was pacing under for the first 3 quarters and they needed a 73 point 4th quarter to beat me and they almost did it scoring 72 and dribbling out the last 7 seconds! The game finishes up 116-102 and I win by half a point.
The moral of the story is line shopping is HUGE! When I used to do this full time I had money in 36 different offshore accounts plus used 6 local bookies. I always made sure I got the best line available. Every so often you will win instead of pushing or push instead of losing or even win instead of losing just by getting the best number!

I don't bet much college during the regular season but will most likely make a few bets during the tournament. The more interest a sport gets the more attracted "joe public" gets which brings a lot of dead money into the game. Value can be found so I will be there. It's just like the stock market in a way. Public perception drives the numbers making the numbers inefficient creating value. The value is not always realized right away but just like many AP bets over the long haul you will win.
