Ill go ahead and post some plays for discussion and analytical purposes. Been on absolute fire and looking to continue.
I just found this wesbite the other day, pretty cool. Tracks all plays with a breakdown of type etc.

I am already thinking this poster is a fraud. Claims to be 16-3 but only posted one game here and lost it. Plus, he said the line was -115 yet only counted it as -109 in his history.

Anyone can cherry pick results. Example: Lets say I make 50 sports bets and keep them to myself. let's say half win and half lose. I toss out all but a few losing tickets. I take pictures of all my winning tickets toss in a few losers, bingo I look like a sports betting super guru.
Make all of your predictions first and then show your tickets if you want to be believed.

Whether or not anyone here believes me or not is of no consequence to me. I found it odd that the one play I posted ended a 9 game winning streak.... call it the curse of posting plays or whatever.
I couldnt care less if people believe me or not. I have nothing to gain from this either way.

There's nothing wrong with starting a picks thread. Some guys here are actually good at betting sports they have interesting theories and data. But they actually tell people prior to the outcome.
All this after the fact posting is worthless and suspicious at best.
If you are as good as you claim to be, you shouldn't have a problem posting all your picks prior to each event. Let your picks do the talking.

Because something like this is easily done. Let me explain. I make 30 different accounts at some phantom betting site(I didn't really look to see what exactly that site does or anything). Off course. Until he tries to sell me something, I am willing to believe him, as it costs me nothing. His results are probably within 1-2 standard deviations of expected, as it is a very small sample size. In his little group of players, he was only 9th best. Is it possible he made dozens of accounts and is only showing us the best one, yes. I am not concerned. If the thread goes on without the selections posted in advance, then I will lose interest.
By the way, I took Portland -31.5 over Golden State and got 1000-1 odds. How about that for a pick!

The OP needs to understand that there is always going to be skepticism when someone comes in and says they are doing great. He could have headed some of that off by posting picks before the games were played. He chose not to.
Not sure what one would expect in that circumstance....

Skepticism? Try outright disbelief. To this day I don't believe that kid who says he rang up a million dollars playing blackjack, even though he gave Wizard his bank account numbers to check.
If you're winning that big the last thing you want is people to know. I don't walk around waving my paycheck, and neither does anyone else. Unless it's fake. And then you have the type of person who would fake a paycheck. And you need to stay away from people like that.

Loved the old "Free" Lock of the year scam where you gave the East Coast 1 side and the West Coast the other side and begged them to bet everything they had on the game because it was fixed. All they wanted was $100-$500 after they won on this "easy" winner.

I have to agree with all the backlash. If you can't post your picks before the event any real AP. Gambler or Hustler is going to think this is all some sort of a Ploy or Scam. Not that the Book can't be beat but IMO players have better choices to grind out wins. The Book is pretty much like the Stock Market where you need a very large BR to handle the swings and grind out the edge. When your betting real money you better be able to handle the emotional roller coaster of the Book. What really upsets me about Sports is that you can't play 24hrs like in Video Poker. You really have to have a tight schedule and do serious homework to make your money. In Video Poker it is basically like playing some sort of Memory game and once you have all things Memorized it is pretty hard to fail.

Interesting to see on Wagerminds that you had been betting one unit per game all year and all of a sudden decided these five games were all 5 unit plays. Can you explain how you determined these were such locks that they were worth fives times as much as all your other picks? It sounds to me like a trick a tout would do to try and inflate their results.

I just noticed the leaderboard and realized that in order to be displayed top the leaderboard you have to be leading in units and not percentage... only one way to the top.

All plays sent to clients are always for 1 unit.
I explained already why I starting inputting "5 unit" plays on wagerminds, thats what everyone there who is displayed on their leaderboard does, to get displayed as the top handicapper. That is the goal.
The leaderboard goes by who is ahead the most units and not winning percentage.

Looks like the flagging button is working too well these days. Several quoted insults seem to have gotten edited out of the thread, and since the author can't do that any more...I suspect a lot of people are reading.
