How dumb can they possibly be?

http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sbr-news/nfl-teasers-off-board-caesar-s-sportsbook-68858/

In response to the epic paddling, Vegas casino Caesar's has decided to take all teasers off the board this AFC and NFC Championship weekend, according to a tweet by Todd Fuhrman earlier today.

Caesar's had a relatively low limit for teasers among Vegas sportsbooks anyway at $500, but sports bettors argue that the decision is akin to suspending Blackjack tables because a player won 10 hands in a row.

The betting odds this Sunday are also not exactly textbook tease material, since both numbers already are sitting on the 3

Aren't 2 teamers -120? I'd expect nothing less from Caesar's frankly. Why take money on a 10%+ house edge bet when you can take it on your standard -110 sides and totals instead.

I heard about this. Was pretty surprised to hear they have temporarily eliminated that option. Teasers are universally allowed.

If they just took it off for this weekend I wouldn't be too surprised. With both games lined around 3 they might be worried it will drop to 2.5 and the Wong teasers could hurt them.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Vegas books do not like NFL Teasers, even at -120. Indeed, they would rather people bet something else, but they'll probably continue to offer them in the future, reluctantly. College Teasers are a license to print money though.

My local pay-per-head bookie offers NFL Teasers at +100 for 2-teams. And he regularly offers stale lines. I had a very good year and got paid every time. I expect he'll change things up next year, or cut me off. Otherwise I will continue to beat his ass.

I just came from the Red Rock where the writer said Stations lost $700,000 on teasers last week.

I smell a rat, we talked about half points earlier in the week.....

Also sportsbooks/casinos pulling back bets just seem really tacky to me.

Well, they probably cost themselves many thousands, especially with so many teasers hitting up till now and bettors with full pockets. Maybe even drummed up extra business for the competition, with bettors believing CP "must know something."

I think the end result was basically as if a bunch of players were Martingaling roulette and winning for a while and they sent them across the street where they went broke. Well played!
