Sometime this upcoming football season, I will be placing a large bet with a couple of friends on our hometown teams. Combined, our wagers would exceed $10k for a Sat-Sun (College & Pro).

I'm not expecting a roped off section at Bellagio/Caesars, but do you think anyone in town would give us reserved seats and free drinks for like 6 hours a day? Preferably downtown or on the strip. The key thing is reserved seats, I know how busy those places can get on NFL Sundays.

I don't think $10k bet over two days of football is going to get a group of you much attention.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Agreed.

However if they wire the 10k, the casino might give them a reserved spot , thinking you will also go to the ATM for other gaming as well. Or if they win they might spend it back.

I would call a host for sure. It never hurts to ask.

A $10,000 sports bet is worth about $20 in comps. I don't think CET/MGM will care much about that. Station will give you two drink tickets for every $50 wagered so I suspect if you went to one of their books you would get all the free booze you want and $20 in food. Red Rock and GVR have a special section for high rollers and you might could get into there.

LVH will give anyone with a ticket free drinks. I'm not sure you would get special seating there though.

MGM Grand has a separate line for $10k and higher bets, so at least you won't have to wait in line...

Do hosts even care about sports betting? Every one who I've ever talked to is slots and table games only. They won't even let me take out a marker at the cage to make a sports bet. They made it sound like I was trying to borrow money from them to go bet at the competition's casino or something.

Not a marker, front money. I don't know what they would or wouldn't do. I wouldn't just say im coming in to bet sports. I would just say that you also were interested in haveing a sports party for a few friends. I doubt any big strip casino is going to accommodate him. Not even really sure what hes looking for. Just go save your spots and smoke stinky cigars.

I have never taken casino credit. Only dealt with front money, you can take that out anytime you want, for whatever you want.

I understand that it isn't a whole lot of money, but I was just hoping someone here had a story about getting a private table or reserved seats at this level. Thanks for the input guys, I'll come back and report if I find something.
