I'm getting conflicting information online about where you can do Sports Betting outside of horses, dogs, and Jai-Alai. Some sources say only Nevada, some others say Delaware, Montana, and Oregon have it. Anybody here able to clear that up?

Maybe the reason the info is conflicting is because it's changing! It's like trying to hit a fast moving target.

I read somewhere recently (perhaps it was right here) that Delaware had sports betting, but only briefly, until a judge killed it. I forget why.

If you ever catch that moving target, let us know.

The four states mentioned are the states that are grandfathered past the law from the early 90's which prohibits sports gambling. Right now, the only states with any sort of sports betting are Nevada and Delaware. The betting in all of these states is limited to exactly how it was performed before the law was passed. In the case of Delaware, this means football-only parlay bets. They have tried to be able to accept single-game wagers, but their effort was knocked down in court.

In week 1 I had 9/9 heading into the final game, ready to collect my $1600 when San Diego covered against Oakland. That didn't happen.

Delaware has Racebook and NFL parlay betting.

In an attempt to secure full sports betting, the State of Delaware appealed a Circuit Court's earlier adverse ruling in the Supreme Court.

A couple of weeks ago, The Supreme Court decided they would not hear the case.

So if you want to bet on sports in Delaware, you are limited to parlay cards on NFL games.
