So I'm on the phone with one of my best friends, who calls me for the +130dog picks (he doesn't know a computer from a phone), and he tells me he's up but not very much. I knew he had been trying to whittle down the picks to just those that he personally likes, for example he didn't like Arizona yesterday. Anyway, I kind of lost it with him bitchin' about not winning enough. He wants to do BETTER than what just taking all of the +130dogs produce. REALLY?
At his level of play, he could be up between $30K and $60K since the beginning of the season. WTF! REALLY? He's bitching when the fact is he's culling winners........sheesh. Unfriggin' believable!

I'd post the annualized return (which is what I focus on), but it's ridiculously high. Phenomenal.

So I just got off the phone with my buddy ("The Whiner") and he tells me that he's taken my advice and just played all of the +130dogs. He's varying his bet size between them, which I would advise against, but he's knocking down a pretty good return. He tells me that he has net winnings of just shy of $14K since he took my advice a couple of weeks ago. The best part is that he and his wife are taking my wife and I to dinner tonight to a great steakhouse. Even though my body doesn't tolerate alcohol very well these days, I'm going to find one of the more expensive bottle of wines tonight. Just because.......

So since the season began, the +130dog picks have had 6 occasions of back to back losing days. On 5 of those they had a winning day on the next. Only once did the losing streak get extended to 3 days and none ever got to 4. Today was a loser for the 2nd. day in a row. Toying with the idea of using a double up.......

Just a little additional data on this. I took a look at last year and the +130dogs had 15 instances of back to back losing days. 9 of those times it ended at 2. Of the remaining 6 instances, 2 ended at a 3 day losing streak, 2 ended at a 4 day losing streak, and 2 ended with a 5 day losing streak.

I use SBG Global, for no particular reason other than it is easy for me to copy and paste in the database that I have. The +130dogs are any pick of mine that is getting at least 130.
