STUPID challenge. It does NOT just have to be a bad spot. They have to CONCLUSIVELY see that a first down would have been made. Bozo announcers said it was a good idea. They were short of the first down.....
Both coaches now....
Quote: AZDuffmanWe now have the textbook definition of a blowout.
Or Broncos get one hell of a locker room pep talk and turn things around.
I hope the half time show or ads were worth it :)
still a saint in the eyes of Cleveland fans ?

The Ravens never were nor ever will be our team.
Just because Irsay was an asshole, was no reason to accept Art Modell with open arms.
I am amazed at Bronco fans talking about " our " team. It is Mr. Bowlen's team. And had the bond issue not passed to replace Mile
High stadium, he and the Broncos would have left Colorado.
Quote: TomspurI'm not even watching the game live and I could say with relative certainty that this may have been the single worst performance in a Super Bowl by any team.....
I think that honor belongs to the '89 Broncos, who lost Super Bowl XXIV by a score of 55-10 to the 49ers. Now, this year's Broncos sure did their damndest to outdo that performance.

Yeah I'm sure there were more lobsided performances with regards to score but perhaps never such a hap-hazard one where, from the first few seconds of the game it was clear that the Broncos were not going to be competitive.
Its not really on P. Manning, as it on the Seattle D. Manning was NEVER comfortable, happy feet I thought.
Props to the Legion of BOOM.

Some Porn Star said on TMZ she would do the entire Legion of Boom.....well they are now famous enought hat she might get her wish :)
Beethoven, you will be happy to know, not only did DJatc win money on his first SB betting venture. He also got all school girl giggly, when guess who made a surprise appearance?_______________ I kid you not.
I don't know If what I said was technically incorrect. I was under the impression that term is even used when you know there will be a surprise guest appearance. the surprise is not knowing who it is.Quote: BuzzardI believe everything you said, except for the " surprise" appearance. Had to be a planned rendezvous.
oic.....It went over my head for a sec, I get it now.....funnyQuote: BuzzardI will concede you are probably right. I am no expert in affairs of the heart.

Denver's offensive line was outplayed from beginning to end, that's the bottom line IMO. Denver's D was actually playing pretty well until late in the game. Lynch only had 39 yards, but clearly he didn't need any more than that.
Quote: thecesspitWhen Peyton left Moreno out to dry, I knew the game was over, and probably Peyton's chances of going to the big game again. Good QBs don't do that.
What do you mean exactly "out to dry?" I don't recall the situation of which you are speaking.
Quote: AxelWolffortunately/Unfortunately we went to the Plaza for the SB (I would rather have my own party with friends at my house or in a nice big suite) the Food was under par, but it was a full open bar. I won some bets and lost some bets. I had more fun with side prop bets with everyone.

Her initials are JJ, no doubt.

Moreno made a 4-6 yard catch shortly before going of injured. He was in short centre and fed a ball he couldn't run onto. The two players either side of him got him teed up. That sort of play doesn't protect your receivers. You need 'em to keep catching the ball. if throwing into traffic, at least let the receiver have some momentum to make plays and get out of trouble.

They put tons of pressure on Manning. The secondary also swarmed the ball and held his receivers to no yards after the catch. To me it was an awesome display of defensive brilliance. The Seahhawks are a young team and I'm guessing they will be right there again next year.
