Verlander worth the money?

My personal opinion is that he's not even the best pitcher on his team. I believe it to be Max Scherzer.
My top 5 pitchers for 2013 are:
Max Scherzer DET
Stephen Strasburg WAS
Yu Darvish TEX
Mike Fiers MIL
Gio Gonzalez WAS
A bit outside the box. I know. However, if Mike Fiers wasn't on such a mediocre team then I think these 5 would win more games than any other group of 5....

This might be an interesting prop bet. Pick the 5 pitchers who, collectively, win more games than any other group of 5......
