Sports bettors take note.
12th inning ground ball, Jeter planted left ankle and it looked to buckle. Did not get up. Helped off by Girardi and someone else, no weight on foot.

The 12th inning should never have happened. 4 runs in the 9th???
Cano not bunting Suzuki to second in the 11th??? Who wants the blame?
ruined the Yankees.
Next batter gets walked so chance for a DP
Ibanez comes up with 2 runners on and only one out
instead of man on first and 2 outs.

not to mention the empty seats early on, and opposite Giants FB game tomorrow. Hardcore fans only!

The Captain, Derek Jeter is out for 3 months with a Fractured Ankle.

Yankees really need to learn to play small ball...
They don't utilize the bunt at all; seems like they are always going for Homeruns to save them.
Arod needs to try and bunt for a base hit....try something different.
Ironically, once Phelps entered the game in the 12th inning....I texted a friend and told him Yankees would lose in this inning. I have ZERO faith in Phelps.
I picked Detroit in 6 games before the series started... Yankees will be lucky to get a single win in this series without Jeter. Hopefully I'm wrong but I doubt it...

Not a Yankee fan, but I had a bad feelin when Chamberlain got hit with the splintered bad. He looked pretty good, and the Yanks need(ed) him to keep Phelps out, but thats done already.
Gotta go with Detroit here... 6 sounds like the number, and I agree, Yanks are lucky to get 1 more win to make that. Grandy-ARod-Cano-Swisher I think are 10 for 95, absolutely appalling.
