I want to make this a small story. A footnote in your mind for a second.
Over the years ove been playing at BetMGM poker. At one point i realized there was a slight edge to be had when it came to the poker satellites. They could be turned into whats called tourney dollars, and would essentially never expite, as tournament satellite tickets do.
SO i began to accumulate many many tickets. The only problem is that it was at the "staffs" discretion and I had to ask every time. But this was specifically the words that were in their help screen. You had to email them, ask them to convert and they either would or wouldnt. At first they were courteous about it. They did it once for me. But i had accumulated alot of them. Over 2500 dollars worth and when they converted them thats the amount they gave me.
Anyways whenever I would interact with any of the help people i would often have to quote their own help screen on their official website because they would often ask me why i wanted to do it. And I quoted my "rights" on their website. Because i wanted to do it.
So I have been accumulating more tickets recently, bigger better tickets.
Wouldnt you know they changed their terms and when I emailed them, THEY quoted their own new terms and services. It was structed the way I would have responded to them had they gone through their normal script.
Im slightly impressed and kind of mad but hey they seem to be on point i guess
luckily they left me an out :)
