Frenzy Disks (16 Balls) is a roulette variant by Red Rake Gaming. There are two concentric wheels, each with 25 numbers. The player picks 8 numbers per wheel and the game releases 8 balls per wheel. The player is paid according to the number of matches per wheel and a multiplier, which depends on the least number of matches between the two wheels.

Bottom line is a return of 96.07%.

As always, I welcome all questions, comments, and especially corrections.

The question for the poll is would you play Frenzy Disks (16 Balls)?

I did reproduce all your math, I agree with every number.

Typo: above the 2nd-to last table, you use the word "catches" when you meant to say "matches."

Grammar: You use the word "least" when you should use "lesser" or "lower," because there are only two wheels.

Clarity: Many times, you use the expression "number of matches between the two wheels." It is confusing -these are not matches "between" the wheels, i.e., these are not numbers on one wheel matching numbers on the other wheel.
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

1) Are there two wheels turning independently or is it just two concentric parts of one wheel?
2) Are the eight balls thrown at once? Isn’t there some correlation ensuing? Does your calculation assume independence of the balls?

Independent.

Independent. It's an electronic game.

This seems to be getting into the neighborhood of Keno in design. Much better odds than regular Keno and better odds than 0/00 roulette. Still, not for me.
If anyone gives you 10,000 to 1 on anything, you take it. If John Mellencamp ever wins an Oscar, I am going to be a very rich dude.
