I remember that story from 2012 about the lawyer representing a mystery client who was associated with the newly formed trust. They walked away from a $16M jackpot rather than identify who they were. It was all very strange. Now, it makes some sense. Hope this guy and his accomplices get some decent jail time if convicted.

I'm a little confused. What lotteries don't have their winning numbers determined by a ping-pong ball draw? How can you possibly know those winning numbers in advance, unless you rig the draw somehow (which has happened; in 1980, a Pennsylvania Pick-3 (i.e. 000-999) was rigged so that all of the 4s and 6s weighed less, and the winning number (appropriate, according to some) was 666)?
EDIT: Shows you how much I know...
But seriously, how hard could it be to use physical means, like ping-pong balls, to draw numbers for every lottery? Maybe they can go to a Vegas casino and ask if they have any surplus keno blowers - I mean, Luxor must have done something with the ones it had when it dropped the game.

That was my thought, I thought all lotteries used bingo machines to pick the numbers.
As always greed gets the best of people. He could have claimed 1 or 2 jackpots and rode away into the sunset.

now that even the state lottery's RNG is rigged, are you still that confidence with Pokerstars?

Casino games are more trustworthy than games offered by State Governments. A legitimate win was crookedly shared because some con man got the number through a scam. Then the Feds and States will take a lot more in taxes. There was already probably a 40% vig. Then some states require that your win becomes public ensuring that your long lost 5th cousins will soon be calling.
