The majority of internet use of Three Card Poker, including all United States use, has not been licensed. Certain internet casinos have used other game names, but the game is still the same. Players are not informed by these internet casinos that Three Card Poker is a proprietary game and that these internet casinos use the game without permission of and without payment to the game inventor or the game rights owners.

So is this just a reason not to play this game? Or is it a reason to not do Online Gambling period? Just curious because I have been thinking about getting into it.

Thats okay. People will read a work that has been printed in violation of the copy right laws.
People used to ride escalators without regard to the fact that the store failed to post a sign that stated "This way to the Escalator brand of moving stairs, a term trademarked by the Otis Elevator Company". To the public it was ... does this get us up to the next floor or not? The gambling public may not much care if royalties are being paid to the game inventor, the gambling public largely cares only if winnings are being paid to the players and does not really consider the casino's cheating the game inventor as being determinative of the issue of honesty.
