Hello,

I have done some matched betting but I am new to online casinos, so while it's possible I am missing something very important, I think I found a +EV opportunity at Mr. O Casino (/promotions). The casino itself appears to have a good review from Wizard of Odds.

The offer is a 400% match of up to $10k with a 40x playthrough requirement. Video poker and blackjack count towards the playthrough. If you take full advantage of it - $2,500 deposit - you'll need to play through $500,000 ($12,500 x 40). Even with only a 99.0% RTP, you're only expected to lose $5k on a $500k playthrough, walking away with, on average, a $5k profit. Obviously there are blackjack and video poker games that exceed a 99.0% RTP, making the EV even higher.

Am I missing something here? I know the days of easy casino sign up bonuses are over. I'm worried this is too good to be true.

This would be extremely hard to do. First the bonus AND deposit must be played through 40 times EACH. So if you deposit 2,500 dollars you would get the max bonus of 10,000 plus your deposit to start with 12,500 dollars. This means bonus of 10,000 X 40 playthrough is 400,000 dollars plus deposit of 2,500 X 40 playthrough is 100,000.

So you have to do 500,000 playthrough to cash out. Now the kicker....you must do this in 7 days AND the bonus is not withdrawable. So they take the 10,000 back and you get what is left. They also have a max bet of 10 dollars. You would have to play and average of 71,428 dollars a day betting no more than 10 dollars at a time. This would mean an average of 7,143 hands a day at max bet. IF you can play 500 hands an hour this would take 14.28 hours of play each day for 7 days. Good luck with that.

Then you have to hope it is an honest casino that will pay you out if you win and also hope they deal a fair game.

I used to make a living playing online but times have changed. Yes lots of good bonuses out there but know what you are getting into.

A 7 day time limit would explain why this appears too good to be true, but I can't find that on the site or on . Their customer service said that the promotion has no time limit. Where did you see that?

You are right about 500 hands an hour for 14 hours a day being unrealistic for me, but I suppose with a 7 day limit, I could just deposit an amount I could realistically play through. Still +EV, assuming it is an honest casino.

You might be right and if customer service told you no limit then try and save that chat incase they change the terms later.

What I read was in the terms and conditions 6.8 (B) . It states every coupon code comes with an expiry date of 7 days. However sometimes the Sign up bonuses are exempt Just double check with chat and save the details they tell you.

Good luck if you take the challenge. With no time limit there is no rush.
