I'm curious about something.

I've been playing Baccarat on my phone and iPad, also online (when I have the time) on Bovada in practice mode and I've since tried a couple of other places online too. Can any of these be programmed to make you win more? To pull you in? Or are they all programmed with random number generators allowing for natural mathematical patterns (?? lol).

Playing online and on the different apps is fun, but I'm skeptical. Should I be?

Nothing like playing live with real cards and real people.

Thank you in advance for your answers. You guys have been real helpful with your other replies.

Sure they can program it that way. Bovada is reputable enough I would doubt there's is stacked, but if you find any other online casinos I would be wary.

They could be programmed to produce non-random results. However they most likely are not. There is no need to do so (program them non-randomly) because of the house edge and doing that well is more difficult than just programming to make results which conform to standard randomness (RNGs, pseudo-random generation).

If what you are doing is with play money I would say there is a huge chance it is properly random. If you are playing with real money or in an app with micro-transactions there is some motivation for it to cheat. However, doing so would be a risk which larger, reputable operations would not gain much via. Small ones, maybe.

Thank you, guys. So far I'm not playing for money online or on any apps, just live at the casino.
