I found this, but not the bet. Some interesting reading in this thread from a few years ago.
I can’t search for it right now but I’m 100.% confident it was if it dropped below 60k and in fact for a few minutes it did go below 60 but I think Billy said he wouldn’t count thatQuote: billryanI was thinking it was 60K but will look for it. I always require my opponent on these on line bets to be responsible for remembering. That being said, if Billy (or another Good Samaritan) can’t find the bet I’ll have to declare Billy the winner, as he does aver that he remembers it at $60k!
And it IS written down….. we just don’t remember where….

Thank you Dark. I will wait for Billy to tell me which charity he wants the money donated to. I don’t think revealing he told me by pm to donate it to a charity of my choosing will get me suspended! I hope Billy publishes his favorite charity here, so possibly others will donate as well.
