But who, in YOUR OPINION, is the most "smug" about their position on the subject of AP-by-means-of-legal-toss play?

Who is the most positive it can't be done. I assume trolls encompasses members of this board?

(sigh) My sense of poetry is rightly humbled.
I was accused of setting the dice once by the pit boss after I had a short run.

I had to look up "smug" as I posted. Google, "what is smug" yielded,
adjective
having or showing an excessive pride in oneself or one's achievements.
"he was feeling smug after his win"
but unJon picked up on my intent for meaning, I believe. Smugness is a confidence that is born, sometimes, of hastily developed opinions over too few samples.
I STILL don’t get it.
Now I get what the question is asking. But the first three choices leaves me confused.Quote: unJonI thought it was who was most sure of their views, whether those views were that dice influence was or was not possible.

Those three positions are a rotation of the crew. Does a person’s opinion change when he goes from stick to base? Or base left to base right?

On a side note, what’s a 2nd (or 3rd) base DEALER?
what does "accused of setting the dice" even mean?Quote: MDawgI assumed the poll was over who is most convinced that dice setting is possible.

Setting the dice is rather obvious, no accusations needed.
Setting the dice really doesn't accomplish much, lots of people set the dice.
Being accused of influenceing the dice would be a different story.

well in PA you it is up to the table captain or whatever its name is - but i think the dice at least need to do some kind of motion and cant be slid from what i think ive read
i somewhat think dice setting is real based upon the fact that its been codified in PAs laws but im a peasant comapred to all of your experience and opinions

Dice setting is real; dice control is a fantasy.
I voted for the CW: they're cyncal, worldly and can cut right through gambler's BS.

welcome back Ahigh
You've suggested in the past that your craps play has been hampered by casino personnel. Can you give us some details?

Dice "kissing" is a super spreader event.

When masks were required the dealers stopped it. But dice kissing is back now. So is blowing on the dice.

Ballys, AC, about 10 years ago. Young(ish) woman, high-strung, loud-mouthed in that nails-on-blackboard way, gets the dice. She takes 10 seconds to select two, then rolls them against the side, in front of her, waiting until 'her' number came up, then stacked the dice, jumped up and down three times, grabbed the dice, shouted something in an Asian dialect, and threw them with great force at the end of the tub, where one or both promptly hopped out of the tub. This happened three times in a row before the pit crew warned her to tone it down....but that was like throwing gas on a fire.
She point-outed and nobody was hurt as everyone had pulled their bets after her second throw. She did a lot of moaning about how the crew 'jinxed' her roll, but left. It took a few minutes for our ears to relax.
