I plan on playing 20 on 4,5,9,10. Along with 24 on 6 and 8. 10 on the field bet replaced each roll. Tripled after 4 rolls without a field hit. Pass line for 35 with 20x odds. Sometimes 50x odds depending on the casino Of course my other bets would be doubled if I was playing 50x odds. If 4 5 9 or 10 hit the appropriate bet would be taken down and twice for 6 and 8. I can influence the dice somewhat, but that is probably only on 4 tables nationwide. Dont play them that often so it is not a factor.

However, for for the sake of all u number crunchers I dont plan on playing any casino with 50x odds for the next 4 months and 17 days. So My question is what are the odds that I can turn 15k around with my 20x odds strategy. The 15k is non blackjack bankroll so I can afford to lose it. My comfort zone would be 65-75% chance of doubling.

I have just accomplished full time blackjack player 4 months ago and need to learn to play craps for cover or just so the casinos know they stand atleast half a real chance to get some of their money back.

WHY do you want to do an Iron Cross which is nothing but a name for a hedging scheme wherein you will have bets down on everything and therefore will not do well on P...SO tables?

Thanks man I think I will go with the 7.5k profit point.

Also, I just left Vegas three days ago. You barely missed me. I am there every third month. I will be there on June 3rd at MGM. I have a 2 week comp there but I will most likely be staying at a rinky dink station of strip.

Do you travel? I am going to be in the south during the next month. Biloxi, Philly Vicksberg to name a few.

Take her easy man. Thanks for the reply.

I am doing it as possible cover for my blackjack play and to minimize losses at the craps tables. If nothing else the casino will think they have half a chance to win their money back. I thought I covered that but I guess I didn't. Then again I could swear I did. lol. Either way it dont matter you have your answer. Good luck on your end. May the chips be pushed toward you.

I teach a "modified iron cross" to players who show apptitude and are action junkies. Do the following:

Point must be 5-6-8. If not 5-6-8 just play pass line with a free-odds level you prefer.

Take at least 1xs odds, more if your budget allows and you prefer
Place one unit on Field Bet.
Place two units plus enough to make the bet proper on remaining 5-6-8 (eg: if betting $5 units place $12 on 6-8)
Replace Field losses with place wins.

Tip the "extra" win from the 6-8 7:6 if you like and want to blend in.

This is a volitale system. Long rolls and you are raking it in. Short rolls can wipe you out.

Benefit is you get a payment on every non-7 roll. And you look like a superstition-system player, helping you hide your counting.

Like any negative expectation game, it is a loser long-term. Unless you believe in **** *******.

And for this variant, like all the other ones, the long term easily starts by 100 dice rolls.
I did many sims on the IC a few years back and this was one of them.

Here is some data:
(using AZDs parameters and only 1X odds. So more odds would be better.)
100 rolls:
ev: -1.65%
-$14.05
54.15% lost $$$
avg loss -$114
sd $85
45.46% won $$$
avg win $103
sd $80

200 rolls:
ev: -1.79%
-$30.38
56.23% lost $$$
avg loss -$165
sd $119
43.59% won $$$
avg win $142
sd $111

1000 rolls:
ev: -1.78%
-$151.21
63.19% lost $$$
avg loss -$411
sd $291
36.71% won $$$
avg win $294
sd $235

One can see the general trend for more dice rolls.

The data does not include the min and max bankroll values.
Being that the distributions are normally distributed, one can play with the sd values if they so desire.
About 6% of the sims never saw a bankroll gain meaning it was a loser right from the beginning.

This is the price that most pay because they want more action.
At best a 4 in 9 chance of showing a profit after 100 lifetime rolls.

7 rolls of the dice and big bets for the $3700 win. I had to go take my 4 wheeler to the contract job I pulled which was 132 miles away. So I figured not much action today so I bet big for 7 rolls. Same system just BIG BIG BETS.
