Haha I still haven't figured out what that means... but I rather enjoy the voice. I find it comical when a shooter is waiting to push the button and is being prompted by the character who is saying "COME ON, PUSH THE BUTTON!!" I rather enjoy it and for a fair shot at winning with minimal bankroll, you can't beat it. Gained a whole bunch of comp points at Binions during my last trip and lost very little money.

Yeah, it has something to do with the last fifty rolls ... like that means anything.
When I played with the high-roller at the Riv, he refused to press the button, and he let the computer do it automatically when time ran out. So I heard that voice a lot. Funny, he did pretty well that way.

these are the Pop O Matic craps machines.

i've seen them in the bellagio and MGM. both a 3x max odds.

do u get points playing them?

what other casinos have them, and what odds?

The machine at NYNY is 5x odds, or at least it was in August when I was there. One advantage the machine has over the tables is that an odd amount ($5 place bet on the 6 or 8, $5 odds on a 5 or 9) can be made, and the proper payout will be made to the odd penny. I still prefer a real table, though, but until I read this thread, I didn't think about using it for comp points.

Can't speak for table max but NYNY was the first place I ever saw bubble craps and it did not issue any points for playing as of August 2011 even though there was a slot for players cards. NYNY was actually one of the few that I saw which specifically said "NO COMP POINTS EARNED" or something of that nature right next to the players card slot.

I can vouch for the sign still being present a few weeks ago. I didn't actually bother inserting my card, but I'm guessing if they changed the policy they would take down the signs.

Don't remember the max bet amount.

I played lots of bubble craps this past week. Most machines were 3x odds, did find a few 5x odds- one at Riviera for sure, can't remember where the other 5x machine was.

I also played some real craps, but had more fun at the bubble machines. Love 'em.

2) No wrong payoffs- I notice this often and suspect it's not a honest mistake. No other game comes close. Sometime I think you have to tip from the start in order to get a square game?

You're right, no other game comes close to the amount of mispays, but I'm fairly certain the vast majority are honest mistakes.

A BJ dealer, at a minimum, only needs to know what 3 to 2 is for each chip they deal with. A smarter dealer will know the payoffs for $1-$9 and will just add the BJ totals of each digit of the bet.

Here are they payout keys a craps dealer must learn. Just take a look at the key for a horn high twelve for example: 11 x bet plus amount on number hit. Many players feel that it's not that hard since they know what their own bets pay as they play them all the time. Now imagine you're the stick, have just finished calling a yo, and have to pay out 3 C&Es, a straight up yo, a world bet, and a $40 horn high yo. All of this while the box is telling you to keep the dice in the air. I'm not excusing mispays, but I understand why they happen.

I haven't dealt in more than a decade and I could easily pass a blackjack audition and I'm fairly confident I could pass a roulette audition with no practice on either beforehand. I would be thrown out on my head if I tried to audition for craps.

wished states on the east coast had them, besides the new casino in NYC.

http://wizardofvegas.com/forum/off-topic/general/9141-which-casinos-on-east-coast-have-electronic-craps/

according to WongBo, Pa, nj, and ct dont have them.

that leaves de, md and wv?
