i've seen them in the bellagio and MGM. both a 3x max odds.
do u get points playing them?
what other casinos have them, and what odds?
I hear its spreading all over the south strip but I didn't see any other casinos specifically which have it. I've heard rumors of it being in Riviera but I cannot confirm this myself.
Most odds I saw was 2 and 3X.
I did not play STW Craps at all the strip casinos.
Gold Strike in Jean was the only one that I saw and used a players card at 2X.

Quote: duckmankillaFWIW I had a blast playing these machines during my most recent trip and the trip before when I first saw it at NYNY. With a full table and people cheering, it can feel almost like a live action craps table... almost. At 3 AM by yourself with no one else around, it doesn't quite give the same rush.
so nyny is also 3x odds?
how about buying thr 4+10. do they take the 5% vig AFTER you win (1.67%?) or before (6.67%)?
Good QQuote: 100xOddsso nyny is also 3x odds?

The ones I played ALL took the vig for all buys and lays after a win. NYNY and Gold Strike
I will be in Vegas in 2 weeks.
Guess it is time to really study the rules at every location.
I also noticed that if the max bet was $500, that was it on the Lay bets. NO Laying the 4 for $1,000.
Quote: duckmankillaNYNY has it for 3x odds as well. The Palms has either $2 or $3 min with I believe 10x odds and I know Binions has one in the back which is a $1 min but only 2x odds. The nice thing about Binions is that you earn comps at the same rate as slot machines for playing, so you can easily play pass and dont pass, take max evening odds on both, and as soon as a 7 or the point is hit earn comps for every resolved dollar you bet. I saw a guy racking up comp points this way when I was there last week and as soon as I switched to try to earn some points myself, the come out roll came up 12 twice in 4 come outs losing me my pass line and pushing the dont, making it very frustrating.

When I played at Binions it did not give me any points at all a few weeks ago, even for line bets. They are also at Riv, but no points anymore. Station will give you points on the flat bets and other wagers, but nothing on the odds. Since the cashback is .3%, you are not going to be able to middle them with points.
$1 min, 5x odds!
but $25max place bets and $250 max combined bets on the table :(
i racked up like 3000 points. so how much is that worth if i cash it in?
and how much is it worth if i use it for their buffet?
Also, does the bellagio give points for their Bubble craps machine?
That's worth $3.00 in cashback, freeplay or food comps. How did you do overall?Quote: 100xOdds

Riveria has it, $2 and 5x odds. No points. Don't know about the other places. Why don't you check them out and report back?
going to check them out. dont care about points. i prefer the 5x odds vs the 3x odds at the bellagio.
the $250 cap for total $ in play at sunset station sucked. someone was on a streak but i couldnt press it further than $7 w/$35 odds because of the cap.
$42 * 6 = $252 so i couldnt max out my odds by $9. ($7 for come bet)
oh.. and won $600 :)
However, at the Palms a friend (who plays bigger than I) hit the cap, and he was not happy. By the way, I think the Palms is $2/5x and they DO give out some points.
Check out the 1000x odds live table at the Riv for bigger action if you do go there.
5x odds, $250max on tabel :(
bellagio:
3x odds, $500 max on table but no points. checked my card today and still reads 0 points after playing there yesterday :(
edit: there may be points at bellegio. didnt realize bellagio and MGM share the same players card.
after i played bubble craps at bellago, i played some bj at mgm and use my points for dinner
5x odds, $250 max on table
i'm surprised Aria doesnt have a bubble craps machine. yet they have not 1, not 2, but 3 electronic roulette bays!
final update till i return:
binions:
2x odds, $500max
didnt see bubble craps at any other casino under the fremont canopy.
hopefully when i return there will be a 5x odds, $500 max WITH player points machine.
also hopefully casinos in wv, pa, md, de, and atlantic city will have them.
I think Bubble Craps is almost more fun then a $1min 100odds with PUTs craps table. (almost...)
Edit:
I think the Bellagio has the best Bubble craps.
$500 max on table.
And even tho it's 3x odds, it allows points which will offset the slightly higher house edge over 5x odds. altho i dont know how long you have to play till you get anything at the Bellagio.
coming in 2nd is Binions.
$500 max on table, and only 2x odds. but they have a MUCH lower threshold for giving out comps compared to the Bellagio.
Quote: odiousgambitI missed exactly what is so much fun with Bubble Craps as opposed to table Craps?
I agree "real" craps is more fun that bubble craps, not to mention more generous odds. But, I can think of a few advantages in favor of bubble craps (at least for me):
1) No dealers whining for tips. I'll estimate about 20% of the time I will leave a table for this reason (blackjack only 1%). Sometimes one of them will start whining within minutes of playing.
2) No wrong payoffs- I notice this often and suspect it's not a honest mistake. No other game comes close. Sometime I think you have to tip from the start in order to get a square game?
No tips, easier to make bets, simple to turn on/off your bets as you wish. Fractional payments on breakage bets.Quote: odiousgambitI missed exactly what is so much fun with Bubble Craps as opposed to table Craps?
Downsides: Annoying Japanese cartoon character who makes weird sayings like "MYSTERY OF FIFTY SERIES!!!" every 30 seconds.

Haha I still haven't figured out what that means... but I rather enjoy the voice. I find it comical when a shooter is waiting to push the button and is being prompted by the character who is saying "COME ON, PUSH THE BUTTON!!" I rather enjoy it and for a fair shot at winning with minimal bankroll, you can't beat it. Gained a whole bunch of comp points at Binions during my last trip and lost very little money.
Yeah, it has something to do with the last fifty rolls ... like that means anything.Quote: duckmankillaHaha I still haven't figured out what that means... but I rather enjoy the voice. When I played with the high-roller at the Riv, he refused to press the button, and he let the computer do it automatically when time ran out. So I heard that voice a lot. Funny, he did pretty well that way.
Quote: 100xOddsthese are the Pop O Matic craps machines.

The machine at NYNY is 5x odds, or at least it was in August when I was there. One advantage the machine has over the tables is that an odd amount ($5 place bet on the 6 or 8, $5 odds on a 5 or 9) can be made, and the proper payout will be made to the odd penny. I still prefer a real table, though, but until I read this thread, I didn't think about using it for comp points.
do you remember what the max amount on table is?
and do u get points for playing?
Quote: duckmankillaCan't speak for table max but NYNY was the first place I ever saw bubble craps and it did not issue any points for playing as of August 2011 even though there was a slot for players cards. NYNY was actually one of the few that I saw which specifically said "NO COMP POINTS EARNED" or something of that nature right next to the players card slot.
same w/rivera.

I can vouch for the sign still being present a few weeks ago. I didn't actually bother inserting my card, but I'm guessing if they changed the policy they would take down the signs.
Don't remember the max bet amount.
I also played some real craps, but had more fun at the bubble machines. Love 'em.
Quote: DanMahowny2) No wrong payoffs- I notice this often and suspect it's not a honest mistake. No other game comes close. Sometime I think you have to tip from the start in order to get a square game?
You're right, no other game comes close to the amount of mispays, but I'm fairly certain the vast majority are honest mistakes.
A BJ dealer, at a minimum, only needs to know what 3 to 2 is for each chip they deal with. A smarter dealer will know the payoffs for $1-$9 and will just add the BJ totals of each digit of the bet.
Here are they payout keys a craps dealer must learn. Just take a look at the key for a horn high twelve for example: 11 x bet plus amount on number hit. Many players feel that it's not that hard since they know what their own bets pay as they play them all the time. Now imagine you're the stick, have just finished calling a yo, and have to pay out 3 C&Es, a straight up yo, a world bet, and a $40 horn high yo. All of this while the box is telling you to keep the dice in the air. I'm not excusing mispays, but I understand why they happen.
I haven't dealt in more than a decade and I could easily pass a blackjack audition and I'm fairly confident I could pass a roulette audition with no practice on either beforehand. I would be thrown out on my head if I tried to audition for craps.
Quote: DanMahownyI played lots of bubble craps this past week. Most machines were 3x odds, did find a few 5x odds- one at Riviera for sure, can't remember where the other 5x machine was.

wished states on the east coast had them, besides the new casino in NYC.

according to WongBo, Pa, nj, and ct dont have them.
that leaves de, md and wv?

its the best of both worlds.
i like it because of real dice and your ability to do whatever weird bets u want w/o the negatives (dealers, players holding up the roll, wrong pay outs, etc)
kinda like the holodeck in star trek

Yonkers, NY has Electronic Craps. Very similar but the dice are merely displayed on the screen.
Foxwoods had it for a while, but it vanished about a year ago.
edit---Also Mohegan had the Sic Bo/Craps Popper Combo (choose which you want to play on the touch screen) in their Asian area, but they took the Craps option away last time I was there. Still two dice of one color and one of a different color though...

yonkers is real dice but u can only see the 'roll' via video camera?
or digital dice?
and i think i'm going to the aquaduct casino in nyc this weekend just to see their bubble craps game.
or bad idea to go during good friday/easter weekend?
i would not recommend going to aqueduct on the weekend,
they only have one (possibly two) Organic Dice station (six or eight consoles)
though this is not as crowded as the video dice, it can be hard to get a seat.
if you do go, i think the second station is in the back past the baccarat on the second floor,
this will be less crowded than the station near the circular bar in the middle of the floor.
the last time i was there, that second station was only running sic bo,
but i think that was because it was chinese new year...
Slated to open in June 2012! Located between Baltimore and Washington DC. The largest gaming facility in Maryland will feature 4,750 slot and electric table games, including black jack, roulette, craps and poker. The second phase of construction will include several upscale dining establishments and an intimate live music venue.
i wonder if this will have bubble craps?

thx but dont care about the Vegas star.
not interested in digital dice
let me know if you find it anywhere else in the east.
Where To Play
but, i am not sure how accurate it is.
i do not think they are still installed in the CT casinos.
maybe try calling the casino?
i asked about their electronic craps (Organic craps) game on the east coast.
he only gave me one location:
Resorts World in NYC
the dice station i mentioned on the second floor,
is in the back near the buffet.
it's one dice bubble with a display and SIXTY terminals.
i did not play craps, as i was with my friend who is a sic bo addict.
i know the craps limits are $10 min/$200 max,
and i think it was offering 5x,
but i am not sure if that was on everything or part of 3-4-5.
Interblock G4 Organic Dice video
do u know why AC doesnt offer bubble craps?
The machine shares the sicbo dice, so there aren't only craps players there.
Regular vegas odds, 3,4,5 times odds. lay, buy place, come, all the same odds payouts.
No hop bets, no fire bets.
Everything else is about the same.
If you bet 10 on the come, and a seven or eleven comes out, the machine takes the bet and puts it into your bank so you have to rebet it again.
Keeps you busy.
Machines rolls every 25 seconds.
The machines tracks the rolls for you so you can see the last 10 sessions of number.
2000 max allowed as total bets on table.
15 dollar min now.Once you bet 15, you can make smaller bets of prop bets.
in Vegas 5x odds machines are at Palms, Hooters, Slotsafun, El Cortez. Not sure of others.
another thing I'm noticing is that for such a new game it is disappearing. Hard Rock, Golden Gate, Downtown Grand and Orleans have all removed theirs recently.
