$1 vig to buy the 4/10 for $20 - $35, taken up front.
$1 vig on $35 to buy the 4/10, taken up front.

$3 vig to buy $75 4/10, taken up front.
What's the HE?

I get these numbers:
Bet ($) | Vig. ($) | Win ($) | Lose ($) | HE (%) |
---|---|---|---|---|
20 | 1 | 39 | -21 | 4.762 |
25 | 1 | 49 | -26 | 3.846 |
30 | 1 | 59 | -31 | 3.226 |
35 | 1 | 69 | -36 | 2.778 |
75 | 3 | 147 | -78 | 3.846 |
And $1 vig to buy the 4/10 for $39, taken up front, I get 2.5%.

simple formula for $1 vig
1/(bet+1) for $39 bet the HE is 1/40
for others
vig/(bet+vig) for $75 bet the HE is 3/78 or same as 1/26 (for a $25 bet)
btw, vig on win only
vig/(bet+payoff)
think I printed that right
enjoy the values
here is what I get for vig on a win onlyQuote: DeMangoFigure out the difference and weep!
as a comparison.
Bet($) | Win($) | Vig.($) | net Win ($) | Loss ($) | HE |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
20 | 40 | 1 | 39 | 20 | 1.667% |
25 | 50 | 1 | 49 | 25 | 1.333% |
30 | 60 | 1 | 59 | 30 | 1.111% |
35 | 70 | 1 | 69 | 35 | 0.952% |
39 | 78 | 1 | 77 | 39 | 0.855% |
75 | 150 | 3 | 147 | 75 | 1.333% |

Isn't this how they do it in AC? Toking with $1 across is popular because they round up on every wager. So all the numbers pay 3 for 1.
is there a way to say winnings only to the dealer?Quote: ahiromuIsn't this how they do it in AC? Toking with $1 across is popular because they round up on every wager. So all the numbers pay 3 for 1.
that way, you don't have to tote again when the # hits?
Last time I was at Tunica was in 2007 and I remember that bet too.Quote: DeMangoDon’t know if the game still exists in Tunica, but on some crapless games you could buy the 12 for $35, $1 vig on win. Didn’t get any better than that! Is the vig on that .41?
HE would be 1/245 or 0.004081. that would be .41%
'same bet' has worked well for years.Quote: 100xOddsis there a way to say winnings only to the dealer?
both the Dealers and the players can use it
Quote: DeMangoThanks for that. About 3% cheaper when vig on win in MS and other places that have a good craps game. Don’t know if the game still exists in Tunica, but on some crapless games you could buy the 12 for $35, $1 vig on win. Didn’t get any better than that! Is the vig on that .41?
Just to clarify from that other thread, in Tunica, you only pay the vig when you win, yes, seen it, done it, but can you still take the bet down without paying anything? Seems like it could be a lot of work for the dealers for no profit.

Just say "player control". This way you can same bet, press a unit, etc.
