Would the same terminology be used if the six had been the most recent point, but a seven-out was rolled, then followed by the next shooter establishing his/her first point as a six?
If "Back on the _____" applies for both, is there any other terminology used that means the same thing?
I know these are kind of an unusual questions, but it is important for me to understand the proper and/or all possible terms for this event in a craps game.
Thanks for any feedback to help me understand what is said when the point is re-established as the same number as the previous point.

This made me wonder what a blind person would think walking up to a Panguingue game. I don't know about the rest of the country but Pan used to be HUGE in California, and with a language all its own. Uh, I guess y'had to be there.
I'd prefer a type of 'sterile cockpit' game but dealers and players do like to embellish things a bit.
Instead of 'mark the six' it can be 'light up the six' or something like that. We all get the idea.
The purpose is to make certain that both ends of the table have the same number marked.
Benny Binion once sat TWO boxman at a table. One was nearly blind but could hear real well and the other was deaf but could see real well. It worked out and neither had to retire.
Quote: NewToCrapsIf I were blind and could only go by what I heard the dealers saying at the craps table ... and walked up to a craps game in progress and the dealer was placing the ON puck on the number six and what I heard was "Back on the six", would it be correct to assume that the six was the most recent point that had been made and the current point being established is a six?

I have heard the term, "Back on the ____", or "____ is back up" used in both situations, but most stickmen don't usually relate the prior shooter's last point to the new shooter's. I don't recall any "common" phrases for describing the same shooter putting up "repeaters" except for the usual, "____ is the point (again). Mark it (again)!" Now if a shooter makes the same point more than twice in a row... That's a different story...
"It's remarkable."
