it must be christmas and i must have been nice to the craps gods because i
have managed a 40 minute roll or better 3 of the past 4 times i played.

Last night was wierd, i was on the 16 footer which is hard for me because
it is so long i tend to turn my wrist in more of a throwing motion than just
a smooth follow through.

I started out with my dice going all over and i got some in the hole, then decided
i better throw right or not throw at all. Next roll was better, last was a little over
40 minutes with 34 rolls, 6 pass winners. I could not get the 4th number to the fire bet.

I won some and it was good, the guy next to me came in after my come out of 8
and placed i thiink $54 across and $10 hardways. I hit the 8 right away and he
placed what ever money he had on the hardways and bought a 4. Anyway his rack
\was empty, after 34 rolls he had over $1200 in the rack, max bets across and
on all the hard ways. I dont know what he actually won on the roll, it was much more
than i did. He placed $10 hardways and i made the dealers over $200. he hit 3 hardways
maxed out that i remember and 4 hits of the 4 after he bought it.

I am not an aggressive better, but i keep making much more for others on my
longer rolls than i do for myself. I need to work this out. One great roll an evening can
make your day, but you have to bet better than i am.

Nice rolling! But what a slow table. 40 minutes for 34 rolls? I had a great roll last night, not my longest but my best in terms of targets hit. It was 43 rolls and took just under 30 minutes and the table was pretty full. I hit a ton of hardways so there was quite a bit of prop action as well.

Your spending to much time with Ahigh, your beginning to sound like him.

I don't understand your comment DS. I complimented you on your rolls, and meant it. I commented on the slow table, it drives me crazy when they creep like that. And pardon me for being excited about possibly the best roll I've ever had, just last night (on a table that was moving fast, despite being full). I was simply making a comparison on the speed of the tables it was in no way meant to downplay your achievement.

Are you the only one that can post about great rolls?

FWIW, as a 3rd party, I don't think JB85 was trying to one-up you in his post, dicesetter; I read it as a mutual celebration kind of thing.

it is no big deal.. i am not upset at JB, he is a nice guy,
but he knows what i am talking about and that is my
experience with some one else.

It is no big deal i just laughed when i read his reply,
it was typical of some one else.

I am very happy JB had a great roll, i hope he has many more.

At DS...I don't know what you are talking about. I've never conversed with you in anything other than a respectful manner. I'm not sure why you would laugh. I did the same thing you did, had a great roll and felt like talking about it. And there is no reason to bring up Ahigh. I know your history with him. But I've met him in person and he was a hell of a nice guy.

i will say this and then it is over...

It would be very typical for some one you and i both know that says great job
and then tries to imply you were lying or making it up.

He would have said nice job, but 40 minutes is very long for a 32-35 rolls or so, now i have
a number of them and they are always less than 40 minutes. I am sure you did what
you said you did, but, seems like a possibility you cant read a clock very well.

Sorry i cant help it that it reminded me of his typical reply.

I am being honest, thats is the first thing that came into my mind.

Okay fair enough, you thought I was calling you untruthful....that thought never crossed my mind. Tables run at all different kinds of speeds, we have one table at casino I frequent that has the ats bet and regulars that always seem to run all kinds of prop bets. You'd be hard pressed to get 30 rolls in an hour at times.

To be honest with you that kind of a thought would never cross my mind
either until i had the experience i have had with...

Anyway, i am glad you had the great roll.

I struggled terrible this spring then went to Vegas and played with a
couple good players and then spent a number of hours with Dominator and then
has been fun since. I had a 42 last night again, but it was funny i never
made a single pass line winner, which was a 10. All my hits were 5,6,8,9
and a few 4's . i was using a outside set and i had many more 9 & 5 than i
did 6 & 8.

I know this streak of big rolls will end, it always does. It ends about the time
i decide to bet more (laughing). I need to get my head in the game in terms
of betting on my longer rolls, i am not making anywhere near what i should be to
offset shorter rolls.

Anyway, glad were square
