Hey all,
I wanted to share my story of today's game. I visited Blue Chip Casino in Northern Indiana today, the table was hot the entire afternoon. the all talls hit 3 time and all the numbers hit 1x for 175-1. I was playing the hard ways and the center field 9, one guy threw 4 hard ways in 5 throws. I'm amazed I had enough discipline to leave and cash out. .... Feeling Good :-D

I understand the hardways,Quote: eyerollsixesI was playing the hard ways and the center field 9,
the "center field 9" I have never heard before.
Were you just placing one number - the 9?
Have you learned how to not feel so bad placing just one number and the place mate keeps rolling instead of your number?
(from your other thread)
If yes, how did you do it?
Continued Good Fun to you

yeah I asked that yesterday about placing one number. I was trying to figure out a system to use, most people I see place multiple numbers at a time. I really liked what I had working today, mostly playing the nine, and having money on the hardways, mainly the 6 and 8. It really was a fun way to play, the nine seems to keep showing up. I was playing $7-11 dollars with a lot more numbers then spending $12 placing just the 6&8.
Center field 9, is just a term some of the players call it, i think the 9 is the number baseball calls the Center field player.

Nine is called a "centerfield nine" in casino craps because nine is in the center of the field. In Atlantic City, a 4-5 is called a "railroad nine". The 4-5 nine is also known as "Jesse James" because the outlaw Jesse James was killed by a .45 caliber pistol. Other names for the nine include "Nina from Pasadena", "Nina at the Marina", and "niner from Carolina". Nine can also be referred to as "Old Mike," named after National Basketball Association Hall-of-Famer Michael Jordan. Jordan wore number 45 later on in his playing career.

They mainly call 9 centerfield to
1. sell the field bet
2. remind base dealers to pay the field on the 9.
You also hear "no field 5" because 5 and 9 are the numbers most likely to confuse base dealers on the field bet
