I like to press. It's fun even tho the math says flat betting has a better chance of reaching my win goal.
Heck, for that matter, Bold Play with one huge bet gives you the best chance.

I know I'm playing a -EV game but I'm playing for entertainment.
And fun to me is pressing.
driving an hr, play 1min to make a $100flat/$600odds bet, then driving an hr back is not fun to me.

My current strategy for playing Dont Pass is the Fibonacci press.
Fibonacci = 1,1,2,3,5,8, etc

You see the pattern? Your current bet is the sum the winnings from the last 2 bets.

But playing dark, you win less than what you bet so it's not a linear progression.

at a 3/4/5x table, here's how I bet (all with max odds):
$30,30,40,50,65,80,100

I stop at $100 because e-Craps is considered a slot machine in terms of a W2-G.
Thus I get one at $1200+ returned to me. (Yes, they count winnings PLUS original bet.)

Once my bet is $100flat/~$600 odds, i walk away win or lose.

It's like reaching for the Holy Grail. If i miss, i'll try again another day.
But today I want my last memory to be the enjoyment of reaching for the Grail.

Well , as a serious craps player i am not sure what to say. One thing is sure its your money, and you have the right
to throw it away anyway you want.

I will say this.....not as an attempt to get you to play different, that is none of my business, i say this only
as an accurate reflection of reality. Over the past 35 years of craps playing and taking casino trips, i have seen
lots of people like you. Press press.... and now and then they would win some and strut around. But being 100%
honest here...none of them....not as single one lasted very long....none of the high flyers are ever seen at a craps
table on our trips. They lost it all.....

we have two new high flyers on the trips the past year...... last week one lost $21000 and the other only $8000.
You wont see either of them in another year.

Losing it all is not hard....

So the best solution is perhaps the compromise you make with yourself at the start: you forego that "throw the whole suitcase onto the Pass Line and see if Benny Binion blinks". You trade mathematics for time and free drinks and some music and some very pretty girls wandering around the place.

Clearly the optimal thing would be to do a little trading with yourself with your Pressing Progression. We all enjoy the feeling of pressing as some sort of perverted use of their money even though we utterly know that it is definitely our money once its been risked and therefore earned.

Pressing at the Stratosphere can be fun, progressing into the stratosphere is foolish. At some point its best to end the excitement of the progression and enjoy the excitement of banking a win.

but i do.

again, here's My betting progression for Dont Pass:
$30,30,40,50,65,80,100

$100 is the end. win or lose, i walk away.
if i lose, i wipe away the profit from the $65 and $80 bet.

I'm still up with the 30,30,40,50 bets. Thats $150+150+200+250 = +$750

The vast majority of the time, one full press per number is much better for net results for active players. Multiple presses per number are just too difficult for net wins, believe me I have tried with some big wins, but poor net overall results.

My personal scheme which is having moderate net success thusfar, is collect 3 hits on across betting along with pass-odds, then do a full press on every other hit until all bets are doubled. Press, take, press, take, etc. When it is time to press the number just hit, and it is already pressed, I press another number that is not already pressed, until all numbers are pressed up, then same bet for remainder of hand. Need 15x the dollar exposure per shooter per day bankroll.

that works

I collect double my starting spread before i press. The idea is to bank a profit, before you decide to play with money.
I understand that doing this can make the game boring most days, but a person that gambles for thrills is a great
friend of all casino's.
