Does shuffle tracking in Blackjack works?

As buzzpaff Post:
Shuffle tracking is an advantage gambling technique where a player tracks certain cards or sequences of cards through a series of shuffles.
Shuffle tracking is typically done in blackjack games, although it can be done in other card games. Games with simple shuffles are generally easier to shuffle track than games with complicated shuffles.
Thus, shuffle tracking is usually done in 6 or 8 deck shoe-dealt blackjack games, as these tend to have simpler shuffles compared to pitch games, due to the time required to accomplish a complicated shuffle on 6 or 8 decks of cards.

Yes buzzpaff, will be interesting to see the poll results.

By the way, Shuffle Tracking works for me when I used to play blackjack for a living in the UK, some 20 years ago.
My favourite system to beat the blackjack was:
1. Ace Tracking.
2. Shuffle Tracking.
Last. Card Counting.

It AP based on visual acuity. Say you're playing and a mass of 10's and Aces come out. When the dealer sweeps the table and puts them in the discard rack, you make a mental note of where those cards are in relation to the stack in the rack. Then you just follow that "stub" of high cards throughout the shuffling procedure, cut the cards right at the beginning of the stub, and bet the farm.

That's the premise, anyways. Like everything else, it's not perfect. And trust me, the amount of practice and ability to "see" where that stub is and follow it is incredibly difficult. There are 416 cards in an eight deck shoe. You have to put that cut card within 2 cards of that stub. Not easy. But absolutely possible.
