I've been using ko for several months now and had success with it. However I am able to count faster using hi lo. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because of the extra neutral card to ignore. My question, is there any efficacy in using hi lo with RC only? If so, what would the IRC be if any?

Try REKO which stands for ridiculously easy KO. It's still an unbalanced count and is even easier to learn and use than KO. Some say it's as powerful but I've never used it so I wouldn't know.

I don't think "customizing" Hi-Lo is a good idea although it would be better than nothing.
