Do anybody now have the effect of the dealer busting holding all cards as the index changes (High-low count system, Thorp Beat The Dealer)

And i know that it is more likely that the dealer bust holding a 6 with a index being +21, but do anybody have some sort of chart as in Beat the Dealer by Edward Thorp where he have a basic probability of all different outcomes of what the dealer end up with holding all cards from 2 through A.

Is there any books about this or anything ?

Thorp was a pioneer in understanding advantage play in black jack but his work is somewhat outdated. Go to the Wizard’s main site and read his extensive information on blackjack. The Wizard also provides a book review of more current blackjack strategy books. Most of the books he reviews and recommends are available for sale online and in some cases for half price. Good Luck. I hope you can Black Jack your way to riches.

Another highly recommended site for blackjack statistical info related to card counting is here (somewhere at that site should be something helpful).

The dealer's bust rate "off the top" is about 28.5%

At a VERY high True Count it Maxes out at 29.5%

It hardly ever increases much

Does this mean a player's bust rate will change by the same 1.0 percent?

The player has the option of NOT hitting while the dealer does not have same.

Card Counters hit less and less often as the True Count risers, not because of the (semi-static) dealer bust rate

but because they have an enhanced rate of busting hands where their hands will bust.

A couple of fine examples is NOT hitting 16 vs. 10 or 12 vs. 4 with ANY (slight) increase in the density of TENS.

Also, as the density of TENS increases more and more hands are doubled.

A few more fine examples: doubling 9 vs. 2, A-4 vs. 4 and A2 vs. 5.
