Hi all,I am fairly new to blackjack but know BS pat down.
Tried searching for a House Edge Calculator but cannot find one which
is specific to the BJ games I have access to.
Can someone help me with this?
Anyway Both games using CSM and I know you guys wont touch these but pls indulge me.

Casino A:
4D
Dealer Stands on Soft 17
Double 9,10,11 Only
Double Down After Split Allowed
Resplit any cards to 3 hands including Aces(Aces can draw 1 card only)
Early Surrender but not against A
No Hole card (Dealer BJ wins all)

Casino B:
6D
Dealer Stands on Soft 17
Double any 2 Cards
Double Down After Split Allowed
Resplit any cards to 4 hands except Aces split Once only and draw 1 card
Early Surrender but not against A
No Hole card (Dealer BJ only take original bet)

Can Wizard can help me?
Or anyone?

Try this house edge calculator:

Thanks for the link.
I tried inputting the rules and it comes back with player advantage.
Am I missing something?

Did you input the rules correctly?

Putting the rules into the calculator I got 0.285% house edge for game A and 0.168% house edge for game B, assuming shuffle after every hand.

Hint: for game B you should choose the option "Dealer peeks for BJ" because as in game B only initial bet is lost on Dealer BJ then the house edge and basic strategy is equal to when dealer peeks.

Is the "BS pat down" the treatment that we often get at the airport security checkpoint?

Use the data from this Wizard's page to see the effects of various rules on a game.

A 4-deck and a 6-deck game are better than an 8-deck game by 0.06% and 0.02%, respectively. So, a 4-deck game is better than a 6-deck game by 0.04%.

Doubling only 9,10,11 makes the game worse by 0.09%, and splitting to only 3 hands makes the game 0.01% worse.

Resplitting aces improves the game by 0.08%.

And the European no hole card rule, where the player can lose more than the original bet, makes a game worse by 0.11%.

So, the Wizard's data would indicate that Casino A's game is worse than Casino B's game because 0.04% - 0.09% - 0.01% + 0.08% - 0.11% = -0.09%. This result is comparable to Jufo81's answer, which has Casino A's game worse by 0.117%.

You didn't state whether dealer stands or hits Soft 17 but even with hit Soft 17 that game has considerable player edge with the rules you listed. You should verify whether Full Early surrender is indeed allowed (ie. surrendering before dealer checks for BJ).

Well that's a very good game with player edge and you should make a profit in it in the long run. Where is this game offered?

I imagine that in theory one should seek out the "best deal' and that best would be defined as a combination of the mathematics involved and the practicalities of being able to apply Basic Strategy without any confusion as to the particular rules that are applicable. I just wonder if carrying things out to three decimal points or something really makes any practical difference overall. After a few free drinks will either one of these games have the same differences that they start with? How many hands have to be played for the difference between the two games to exceed the amount of even one tip to the cocktail waitress and to the dealer?

Does Delaware really have early surrender against a 10?

It does allow early surrender versus any dealer up card. though i went back and reviewed the rules and it does stipulate that if the dealers second card results in blackjack then full bet is lost. i missed that before

That's really late surrender then.

i guess they word their rules to be misconceptuous then... in the first sentence it states this word for word.

"as the player's point total is announce, after the first two cards have been dealt, they may elect to discontinue play of their hand for that round and surrender only one-half of their wager."

which is where i stopped reading i guess my fault for not reading forward....
