it seems as if colorado has made the actions associated with counting cards illegal rather than making counting cards illegal lol

Hopefully the player will sue the police officer for illegal assault and gave them a lesson.

Steven Bridges subscribes to the Cult of Colin school of Card Counting and quite frankly stands out everywhere he goes with a very distinctive face.

I guess if he doesn't get cashed out there was no fraud and he was free to go. The GC cop wasn't going to help him get cashed out and just left, and that's what Marshall wanted him there for, to help him cash out! This is so damn twisted!

Doesn't Colorado limit the maximum single bet to $100?
May the cards fall in your favor.

I have been present when someone I know was asked politely to stop playing while losing, and told that was card counting. This, and the experience this guy had in Colorado (he too was losing during the session in question), proves that in some casinos winning or losing isn't the issue: in some casinos if card counting is observed they merely dial up the eye in the sky and then those fellows start counting the deck themselves and if they observe the player raising the bet to the rising count they then decide whether to take action.

I've also pointed out that taking chips off the table really doesn't work - more and more often I am noticing pit bosses methodically counting the rack every time a player leaves the table, to figure out with what exactly the player walked.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people. https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambling/betting-systems/33908-the-adventures-of-mdawg/

Casinos would probably make a lot more money at BJ if they just let the tiny % of successful counters do their thing instead of dedicating significant resources/procedures to identifying them, which slows down the game for the 99.99% of players that don't count or can't do it effectively.

But I guess they just can't stand the thought of even one person having a small edge on the house
It’s all about making that GTA
