Spanish 21 Super Bonus

I've only been playing a couple years, but have never seen the Super Bonus, that is, until about an hour ago. I wasn't in the game, I was sweatin it. This is how it goes. If you're dealt suited 77, and the dealer has a seven of any suit, and then you hit your hand with a third suited 7, you get $5000. Kinda exciting. You have to have a minimum bet of $25 out, if it's under that, you only get $1000. Everyone at the table also gets an "envy bet", or whatever it's called, I forget how much, maybe $50. Doesn't happen every day, that's for sure. Pretty cool. The player had 777 of diamonds, dealer had 7 heart. Someone said he wins $5000, and he corrected them and said, "No, my wife wins $5000", as she was standing behind him. Nice couple, they were pretty happy.

Oh, and there's no side bet, it's just part of the game. You don't have to put up anything extra.

A couple guys next to me were saying they ought to toke the dealer $1000. Obviously they allow alcohol at this casino, they must have been drunk. I don't know what I'd toke if it happened to me. Probably a $100, just because of the rarity of it, and I'm a regular. I don't need a bad attitude from all the dealers next week. Word would get around, I'm sure. When I hit a 4k royal on video poker, they're lucky to get $20 or $40 from me, and they're happy. But that's different.

Is there any other lesser prizes for this bonus? For example , if you get dealt two suited 7s and the dealer has a 7 and you hit and get an unsuited 7, do you win anything ?

No, nothing extra. But you get paid immediately for your total of 21. Dealer does not push with 21, you get paid right away. I really like the game, it's complicated, interesting. I'm not a winner, but a very small loser in the couple years I have played it. That's almost like winning.

You'd get 3:2 for a mixed 7-7-7. It's not a Super Bonus, but it's something.

So don't split those 7's. Apparently there's no tax forms because the win is 200 to 1 or less. If you're betting $5,000 a hand, it's like winning an extra hand. My Spanish 21 App has a preset for the Match The Dealer Bet at one half the original bet. I might go 1/4 the original bet because the minimum payout is 4 to 1, which would be an extra hand won; after a long streak of winning nothing on the side bet.
I'm more likely to find a lower limit Spanish 21 game than a lower limit Blackjack game. This App is wiping me out, side bet or no side bet. I can't even get 10 hands ahead for long before the bottom drops out and keeps sinking.
