(i) The chance can only happen if the dealer has an Ace up (probability 1/13)
(ii) The opportunity is to make a wager (presumably 1/2 your bet to win 1x your bet) with a guaranteed winner.
(iii) You know it's a winner just slightly higher than 4/13 (i.e. when the dealer has K Q J or 10 face down).
(iv) In this case you make a profit of 1 unit.
So chances of encountering this is 1/13 * 4/13 = 2.37%.
This adds a player advantage of 2.37% since every time it happens you can win one unit.
Obviously if you can find this then you're probably in player advantage territory, however the casino might become suspicious how you manage to get 100% of the decisions correct!
Quote: ScardeycatAn online casino I go to: call it "Harry's" for this thread although that's not it's real name, has a wide variety of BJ games. One of them is my preferred because it has resplit, double after split, stand on all 17 and full dealer peek. I've just noticed that the version at Harry's has a glitch on turbo mode whilst the cards are being dealt that's very subtle but it tells me if I'll have a chance to hit or not before the options come up. The thing is the glitch occurs before insurance is offered, so I have been able to guess right on my insurance bets at Harry's on this particular software 100% of the time since I noticed it. This software is available at other casinos but the glitch only happens at Harry's, and only on Turbo mode, so I obviously don't want to make it public. What is my player edge with good strategy?
Is this a regulated online casino under some state or government agency or just some offshore outfit?
There's nothing suspicious about that, just ask Mike Postle and his supporters. 🤣Quote: charliepatrick

I agree, based on infinite decks. As Charlie said, don't get too greedy.
