While traveling for the holiday I stumbled across a one pass shuffle on a blackjack shoe game at a small casino. I didn't even know one pass shuffles were still around anywhere in the US? It stuck out like a sore thumb. It's pretty apparent that you can track in one deck increment s and apply a skilled cut to gain a bigger edge than straight counting. Only problem is that limits are pretty small. I guess it always pays to scout because you never know what you might stumble upon.

This is a great statement =).

If you're sure it wasn't just that 1 dealer being lazy and the limits weren't "awful" you could still make decent money at a place like this.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

It's a casino wide procedure on the two tables they run, not a one off dealer thing. Limits are piddly at two spots of $100 and not mention your in the boonies. My guess is they see green action a handful of times in a decade lol

Wish all casinos shuffled like they do because you could bet big off the top and get zero heat as you basically just get positive counts in the first deck as you cut the good cards where you want.
