Indeed it's quite difficult now. I've been searching for a copy for a bit and shy of waiting for an ebay auction to go for around $2k, there doesn't seem to be many other options =/. I refuse to buy the "notes" of someone (in my opinion) ripping off his book.Quote: WizardI got the original book off the shelf at Huntington Press before approval was required. For Exhibit CAA Grosjean was nice enough to approve me.
Quote: DRichI would be surprised if you got much more than $1,500 for it.
It contains way more than $1500 worth of information for an Advantage Player!

I agree. I don't have a copy but I borrowed one from a friend for a month and read most parts of it.
The problem with the book is that it is depreciating because lots of the information is becoming available elsewhere and casinos have taken countermeasures to protect lots of the exploited games. I hope people are able to get $2000-$3000 for it but I think that is mainly a thing of the past.
Id be fine sticking around after this and being a member of the forum
Quote: lizzieitI'm an ex-professional gambler no longer working in the field, I have a copy of the 2009 Grosjean Hardcover in near mint condition. ( As In jacket intact and everything is there, looks new). I would be fine selling it. I am new here and do not want to get off on wrong foot, I don't know if its OK to post contact info. I can post a link if I put it on EBay if that is OK.

Welcome to the forum. Your respect for not posting links or contact info or soliciting hopefully shows you will be a welcome contributor here. It's up to the mods now. Probably just offer anyone interested to PM you and that will be a no-nonsense way of not stepping on any mods toes.

Can't see it unless it's a direct link.
Guess this outdoes my bid of 314.159 =(. Way to muscle out the little guy.Quote: teliotI'll bid $314.16.
My mammy always used to say, "be generous to others, round up." My paps used to say, "remember - always truncate." Perhaps that's why they divorced.Quote: RomesGuess this outdoes my bid of 314.159 =(. Way to muscle out the little guy.
That’s the most grotesque sample of insanity… or perhaps mockery?!
djatc: “I'll give you $3.50 for it.”
Ibeatyouraces: “I'll bid $3.51.”
Now that’s smart!!
Anyway what da helluva does CAA stand for??? one self-respecting man always uses the entire concept at the beginning and the abbreviation in the brackets.. eg CaaCaa (CAA). The abbrev is then used subsequently.. gamblers especially find over joy and pride in expressing themselves in unexplained abbreviations… osn 86d or 69d u???
goolgle has no clue on caa.. wikipedia offers two dozen abbrevs none related to gambling…

CAA was th he exhibit code used in his court case.
And the $3.51 was a joke. It's worth the money.
It rarely comes up, maybe one new listing a year. There is currently one for $5k.
The original version (not exhibit CAA) comes up way more often and usually goes for around $300-$500. I don’t think I’d pay more than $100 for the original which is half the length.
I’ve searched the web and torrents high and low for a scanned PDF copy, BUT have never been able to find anything.
The closest thing I can find is some guy named Billionaire Ben who will mail you his “extremely detailed notes” of the book for $100

There may be a copy at the special reserve section of the UNLV library, they have had the original forever for sure, I’d inquire there. If they do have it you would be allowed to read it in that room but not check it out, you would be able to take pencil (not pen) notes, not sure if you’d be allowed to have photocopies taken or phone pics.
