I have been playing ENHC, BJ take all games for the last couple of weeks, and I think there are some situations that deserves a change of strategy/index plays.

First is on a heads up situation, no matter how ridiculously high the count is, why would you ever stand a 15 against a 10? Because any card that would have busted you would have given the dealer a pat hand? Why not hit and hope for a low card? The same thing can also be said about 15vsA, 16vsA, 14vs9, and maybe 16vs10 but a 6 would bust you but wouldn't make a pat for the dealer.

And another is that I came across a casino offers early surrender against all dealer up card including A, but you can not take insurance on a surrendered hand. So when count calls for it, would it be more beneficial to surrender or to take insurance?

Thanks in advance!

Switching from hole card game to ENHC game does not affect hit/stand decisions. You will split and double less vs possible dealer BJ. ES is much much more valuable than insurance. With that full ES you probably are playing a positive game. As you are talking about index plays it must be a land-based casino.
