To try and keep this short....counting cards shows little profit because when you count and if you get to a decent high count, its no guarentee that the cards come out in your favor (6-deck mind you, not single thats a different story)...but anyways so for 6 deck games i have adopted wizards ace-five with slight modifications, instead of doubling, quading, and 8x's my bet. I figured through playing and its obvious that when you start at 0 A's and 5's are even but as 5's are dealt and ace's are not hence a high count your more likely to get a blackjack then you were at the beginning of the shoe. So when you get to a count of say plus 5 you double your bet and when you get to a count of plus 10 you double your bet again. so for example you start with 10 dollar bets you would bet that till plus 5 then go to 20 and at plus 10 go to 40 because blackjack chances have increased. (i dont account for going over plus 10 because in the years i have played i never have seen a shoe go over plus ten.)

So im asking is my logic correct do the chances of blackjacks increase as we go into a plus count on the ace-five system therefore calling for a increase in bet?

Also you may not win, millions off this small betting system, but i have found that if you bet in this fashion the ace's tend to come out, not always blackjacks but they are there, basically your tryign to minimize loses while trying to increase profit when the cards are in your favor.......kind of like a waiting bet when your a counting system like hi-lo or zen. Same concept just a simplier way of counting without the dramatic increase in bets like is told you should do with ace-five.

any opinions on the blackjack chances increasing and on my betting methods? what you guys thing? Wizard?

You are utilizing the ace-five method correctly, just with a lower spread then the Wizard recommends. You are correct that as the proportion of aces increases, the chance of your getting a blackjack increases. As we know, the blackjack is where the player makes the bulk of his money. If you are playing a good game (6D, S17, maybe RSA or LS; ace-five isn't too effective for pitch games), you are probably getting down to a .5%-.10% house edge. If you are getting comps, you are probably playing a break even game.
