Nah. They are conducting business. Unlike the 90% of businesses who fail in the first 5 years that weren't gambling, casinos basically always succeed for at least 5 years once open. Gambling (wagering on random chance) is the only thing in the world that leads to a virtually certain and favorable outcome if you are opening a business? LOL, no I don't buy it. I can respect the other side of the argument that APs are engaged in gambling...but that the casino too is gambling, can't go that far. Not only do they make up the rules, they have, for all intents and purposes (intensive purposes if you prefer), unlimited cash. They decide who can play and who can't. And the math says the sun is more likely to explode tomorrow than the casino is likely to go on a losing streak that will cause bankruptcy.

I think as a whole, they aren't gambling. But with each individual hand/spin/whatever they are gambling.
10 eyes for an eye. 10 teeth for a tooth. 10 bucks for a buck?! Hit the bad guys where it hurts the most: the face and the wallet.

I would go to a gambler's anonymous meeting just to hear this excuse. If I gamble long enough, it's not gambling.

No. Just no.

They run enough things that have house edge and bad players where it's basically inconceivable they can have a losing month and obviously a losing year. But still, the house is still gambling on an individual blackjack hand. It's just a small edge, more or less, on one hand dealt.
