There's no need to create a brand new thread when the subject matter is so closely related to your previous thread. Also, just out of curiosity, since you're posting on the Wizard of Vegas, have you tried looking up the BS charts on the Wizard of Odds???

In my understanding the basic strategy chart highly depends on the rules of blackjack you are playing under. Using the weblink posted by Beethoven9th is probably your best option.

There is a need because they're 2 different questions and if I hadn't of asked this 2nd question then I wouldn't of found your link and I have found out that on the basic strategy chart I use it says Hit for my card 9 and dealer card 2 but on the link you gave me it says Double Down or Hit so I need some advice... which is right?

You didn't read my entire message. They are 2 different questions that are closely related.

For example, you ended your first post with the question: "is blackjack basic strategy correct?"
Then you ended this thread with the question: "which basic strategy chart is the correct one to use?"
I don't understand why you can't see how these questions are similar.

In any case, the reason why multiple threads annoy members is because it clogs up the 'Recent Threads' list. To answer your question though, it all depends on the number of decks used (as Ibeatyouraces already pointed out).

This was mentioned but I'll repeat it because it's important. Don't overlook the rules of the game you'll be playing. For example, when the dealer stays on soft 17 there is one set of rules. When the dealer hits soft 17 there are six changes to make and some of them may surprise you.

Right on, man! The changes will definitely surprise. Whenever I double A8 v 6, the entire table erupts. Seems nobody knows basic strategy? But everyone thinks they do.

Off the top of my head: Double 11 v. A, Double A-8 v. 6, Double A-7 v. 2, what are the other three plays?

They're surrenders so not everyone will be fortunate enough to be able use them. In multi deck surrender hard 17 vs ace, 15 vs ace and 8,8 vs ace.
