Well Harrah's is sweaty. And The CalNeva is kind of sweaty.

But I like the Silver Legacy. Same rules as you describe but with DD on ANY number of cards even after splitting. Plus they are pretty good on the food comps. I hear that Atlantis is good along with Circus Circus. Also, you might want to go a few miles west of Reno to Boomtown. They have a decent SD game. And they also have a Peet's Coffee too; which is the most important thing of course. But from what I've seen it's a little sweaty.

If you have a car then Boomtown is a nice place to hit as they changed ownership and got rid of that stupid Denny's inside. If you don't have a car then I would avoid it because there is no bus or shuttle.

Watch your speed going from Boomtown to Reno. Cops patrol that road.

Wife usually drives so I mostly have eyes closed. Thanks for the heads up. Trying to cram to much into 4 days so not sure if we will do any driving but who knows.

CalNeva starts to sweat if you bet more than $25 a hand and the locals start watching you very closely. Run, do not walk back to Harrahs if you win any decent money at CalNeva.

I dropped just short of a grand spreading $25-$200 on a DD game at Club CalNeva. I'm pretty sure I overheard some of the dealers at the next table over discussing whether I was a card counter or not, and it was mentioned "yeah but he's losing big." Sometimes losing can be good cover...but since I'll probably never be back there, it's kind of wasted, I would have rather won and then gotten backed off.
